Post-heaven qi (zhen qi) is powered by the kidney yuan qi. Yin jing transmutes into the force or energy which gives all biological functions to all organs. The quantity and quality of yin qi (see below) influences the level of health for all organs and related body parts.
Shi Shen –need opening definition- activated when the baby learns to think, to smile. It is the function of every organ that illuminate as “emotion, desire and ambition” which spends zhen qi for each function that human desire for. The more “intelligent” you become the more spiritual energy decrease.
Analogies of the human body three treasures:
Jing and qi are to the shen as water in a tank is to gold fish. A higher quantity and quality of the water will make the fish happy with longevity, otherwise the fish will suffer illness and premature death.
A higher quality of fuel (jing & qi) going to a healthy engine (Kidneys) will produce a great quality of horse power; in turn taking the driver (spirit) to its destination. A healthy car (body) plus great quality of fuel (jing & qi) will take one (spirit) to the final destination safely and happy.
1. Jing – visible essences of body (ex. blood)
Yin Jing – essences of food and water that have been extracted by the spleen and work with the Kidneys to produce blood and other liquid inside the body (essences). These essences go to the heart first, then pump from the heart down the Ren channel becoming the “yin jing”. Yin jing is responsible for moisturizing all organs and body parts.Yang Jing – when yin jing arrives in the ovaries or testicles, the Kidneys produce the power to transform the yin jing into an egg or semen, also known as “yang jing”. High quality of yang jing is the foundation for the creation of life.
2. Qi – Life force, vital energy. It is invisible like electricity.
Pre-heaven qi (yuan qi), aka original qi, is the force of life. When two qualified yang jing (egg and sperm) meet with passion, they are transmuted into life force and a human life is created. This original life force powers a human’s life for their entire journey. It also maintains efficiency and quality of organs, body parts and the human spirit. - Yin qi resides in the yin organs (heart, lungs, spleen, kidney, liver, pericardium)
- Yang qi resides in the yang bowels, small intestine, large intestine, stomach, urinary bladder, gall bladder, triple burner
3. Shen – Spirit of mankind (plural).
Yuan Shen – Original spirit of ancestor from the same lineage. It is a logical being who functions as a captain of the human “ship: or body. Yuan shen is also known as the living mystical spirit of one’s body.
